2026 Summer Junior Programme

Preparation for the new season are well underway and we are very much hoping see regulars and newcomers back at Chippenham this summer. We will once again be running weekly sessions on a Monday evening for children age 5 years upwards and a full league programme for children in school years 3 and above.

If you are new to cricket or the club, all newcomers get two free taster sessions to see if they like the club and want to keep coming. We do need to registerer newcomers though before their first session, so please ask them to email the club at cricketchippenham@gmail.com, so we can organise getting them booked in. Here is a summary of the Summer Programme for 2026.

1. The Summer Monday night sessions for school years 1-8 restart on the first Monday after Easter, which is 13th April and run every Monday (including bank holidays). Sessions for school years 1 & 2 will run until 17th until the school holidays start and for school years 3-8 until August 24th (boys and Girls sessions) . School years 1-6 is at 5.15pm, school years 7-8 at 6.30pm

2. Sessions for school years 9 & 10 this summer will be on a Wednesday 6pm-7.30pm and start on 15th April.
