It's Finals night of the World Cup of Christmas Songs

32 Christmas songs have been competing to reach finals day on 16th December. The final two first round matches will be played on Friday 15th December and then the final rounds will all take place on Saturday. To vote on Finals Day this Saturday, you will need to do one of two things, either,

1. Come along to Finals night at the Tharp Arms this Saturday evening. As well as being able to vote on final rounds there will be a fun family quiz starting at 7.30pm (teams of 3 to 6 welcome) and a disco after the World Cup Cup Final from about 9.45pm. It promises to be a fun evening, to get you in the Christmas spirit, while you try to help your favourite Christmas song win the World Cup. And if your team wins the Quiz you will take home a prize as well! If you can come along and join in the fun it will be great to see you there.

or If you can’t come to the Tharp for finals night:

2. You can still vote via What’s App, email or cricket club Facebook page. To get the links to vote on Saturday by email, send a mail to chippenhamcricket@gmail.com and ask to be added to the World Cup mailing list. Or if you prefer it to be sent by What's App, just request that to be added to the What's App World Cup group (WCoCS). If you are already part of the WCoCS group, then you don't need to do anything, you will be sent the links automatically. Just remember to keep an eye on your phone during Saturday, if you want to vote in every round.

Voting online for the eight second round matches will kick off on Saturday morning, with a link being sent for one of the matches each hour between 9am-4pm. Voting will then close for all matches at 8pm.

We expect all four QF will kick off around 8.15pm with voting closing at 8.45pm. Voting for the two Semi Finals will start around 9pm and close at 9.15pm and the final will start at approx 9.30pm with votes closing at 9.45pm.

Thanks for taking part in the fun event and good luck in helping your favourite song being the Wold Cup winner.
