It was the U11s who got this summer's junior season underway. Our brand new U11 Girls team had the honour of playing the first competitive match of the season and it was also their first game as a Girls only team as well. They travelled to Sudbury last Sunday for this inaugural match and despite the match not going their way, they represented the club in great fashion.
The U11 boys got off to a flying start to the new season with two games in one week and recorded victories in both. On Thursday they won away at Worlington. with Freddie, Toby and Will all scoring runs at the top of the order then Theo taking 3 wickets to help us record a 42 run victory.
On Friday they were in action again at home to Mildenhall. This time it was Will (4) and Charlie (3) in the wickets and Freddie hit an excellent 46 runs to see us win by 60 runs.
